Support Proposal 3: Michigan Energy/Michigan Jobs
Renewable energy is good news for Michigan!
Proposal 3: the Michigan Energy/Michigan Jobs initiative calls for 25% of our electricity to be generated by renewable energy by the year 2025. This bi-partisan and broadly supported initiative would help create a cleaner and more sustainable future for Michigan residents while stimulating our economy by putting tens of thousands of people to work building, installing and maintaining clean energy infrastructure.
The world’s religious traditions reflect the importance of caring for the earth and all its inhabitants. Beyond religion, there is the ethical and human value of protecting our environment to ensure a sustainable future for all. Economic and environmental justice is a religious and ethical value. We will have the opportunity to put our faith and values into action this November but ICPJ needs your help.
