Cool Congregations Coverage and Resources

On Sunday, September 20, we joined Michigan Interfaith Power and Light to host a “Cool Congregations” training (read the coverage from AnnArbor.com).

38 people from 15 congregations and organizations came together to learn how they can engage their faith communities in lowering their carbon emissions.

Attend the Cool Congregations training on September 20 to learn how you can help your congregation reduce carbon emissions and protect the earth.

Learn how to conduct a Cool Congregations stewardship program in your congregation by sending a volunteer, or team of volunteers to a training workshop on Sunday, September 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ann Arbor Friends Meeting, 1420 Hill St., Ann Arbor.

The Cool Congregations program helps members of your faith community:

  • Measure their carbon footprint;
  • Identify ways to lower their carbon emissions (and save money);
  • Make a pledge to action; and
