Latin America: Suggested Reading

Many concerns face Latin America, and our objective is to advocate demilitarization and justice in U.S. policy. Our efforts emerge from a shared interest in Latin American issues, especially the movement to close the U.S. Army’s Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (formally the School of Americas).

Our interest also lies within the competing immigration reform bills in Congress, and with ensuring justice and the protection of human rights.

This Land is Our Land: Immigrants and Power in Miami by Alex Stepick

School of Assassins: Guns, Greed, and Globalization by Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer
