Dinner and a Movie- Hotel Rwanda
Please join us for a light dinner and film, with discussion afterwards. Hotel Rwanda tells the gripping story of the Rwandan genocide, throu
gh the eyes and experiences of Paul Rusesabagina; a hotel manager who shelters and protects more than 1,000 Tutsi refugees from the Hutu militia.
Thursday, November. 9th at 6:00pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2250 E. Stadium Blvd (between Packard & Washtenaw).
We’re showing this particular movie to raise awareness of and action on the current genocide in Darfur. It highlights in stark relief the results of inaction from the international community. This is a PG-13 movie, rated as such for violence, disturbing imagery, and some strong language. This event is co-sponsored by STAND.
