Common ground adopted by the Steering Committee on May 10, 2005

· Remove all settlements

· No wall in West Bank & Occupied Territories

· End the occupation (’67 boundaries)

· If there is to be a two state solution, they must both be totally sovereign

· Two states must be viable

· Middle East nuclear-free zone

· Shared Jerusalem

· Search for some common material aid project

· International principles of human rights, especially with regard to prisoners

· No terrorist bombings

· No home demolitions

· No to all violence against civilians, both state-sponsored and non-state-sponsored

· Focus first on U.S. policy

· Reach out to and respect congregations of all faiths

· Seek to find common ground

· Support Jews and Palestinians coming together for action

· Interfaith services–being together in prayer

· Just resolution of Palestinian refugee problem

Full enfranchisement–no second-class citizens
