I’ve just heard about this rally coming up on April 1st to defend affirmative action. April Fools Day is a great chance to say “don’t be fooled” by the so-called Michigan Civil Rights Initiative.

Congressman John Dingell, One United Michigan and the Washtenaw County Democratic Party Black Caucus would like you to join them on Saturday April 1, 2006. The “Don’t be fooled” rally is to shed light on and kick off the campaign here in Washtenaw County against the so called Michigan Civil Rights Initiative which is neither civil nor right.
